A Charity fundraising night at Raceworld, an indoor karting venue based at the Greendale Buinssess Park raised nearly £1000 in aid of Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
The event saw around 50 drivers in 12 teams competing in a Le Mans-Style race. Each team began with a 30-minute practice and qualifying session, followed by a two-hour race.
The Devon Air Ambulance is extremely close to the heart of Raceworld operations manager Rob Twigg, who was one of the first people to be airlifted by the Devon Air Ambulance, 27 years ago after being involved in a serious road accident.
Their next charity team endurance in aid of Devon Air Ambulance is on October 17. If you’d like to be involved contact the Raceworld team on: 01395 233397, race@raceworld.info
